Message from Mrs Trafford

Dear Parent/Carers,

We have a developing floorball team at St. Polycarp's and will be entering district tournaments and festivals over the next few years. It is a cross between indoor hockey and ice hockey without the ice.  

Our children who enter the festivals and tournaments really enjoy the game and we thought it would be wonderful for anyone in Y5 or Y6 who were interested in taking up a new sport to perhaps try out the Farnham Floorball Club  that runs on Saturdays, at Farnham Leisure Centre 4pm -5pm on Saturdays for 9 to 12 year-olds.  

One of our parents visited some classes last week, to show the children some karate moves plus more. If your child is interested in karate lessons, take a look at the timetable (some classes take place, here, at St Polycarp's School)

Reading Chest is a local company based in Elstead.  We are a through-the-post book rental service, specialising in reading scheme books for 4 to 9 year olds.
