6th March 2019 Ash Wednesday Service led by Year 4. Whole School attending.

Shrove Tuesday 5th March - Pancake Day. The PTA invite you to join them for pancakes in the playground.

A questionnaire was sent home on Thursday 28th February regarding the school’s development plan.  We would appreciate it if you could complete this form and return it to the school office, the responses will form part of our ongoing school self-review and development cycle.  There will be a school development planning evening on Tuesday 5th March 3.45 – 5.30pm, if you would like to attend you can let us know by completing the relevant section on the questionnaire.

There will be no fencing club on Tuesday as a result of the school development plan meeting and CASA will be in the Teaching Hall after school.

Please check your children’s bags for school lunch invoices which were sent out before half team. Prompt payment at the beginning of the new term is greatly appreciated.

Friday 8th March is World Book Day at St Polycarp's. Children can come to school dressed as a character from their favourite book. Please bring £2 for the Mufti donation.

Are you interested in applying for our one year post graduate school direct Primary Teacher Training Programme?   You could train ‘on the job’ in one of our outstanding alliance of schools.  For more details come along to our Open Evening on 6th March.

Parent Consultations for all year groups will take place on Monday 18th March and Wednesday 20th March 2019.  The only exception to this will be for Y3 Nightingales whose consultations will take place on Thursday 14th March and Wednesday 20th March.
Appointments will be available between 3.45pm and 6.15pm.  Please note that the Wednesday crèche will not start until after Art Club has finished in the Art Room at 4.15pm.
Online booking of appointments will open at 5pm on Monday 4th March.  An email will be sent on Monday with instructions on how to make a booking.

Wall to Wall television productions are looking for children who would like to compete for the title of ‘Child Genius.’  See here for details.
