Important information for Choir Members - Choir members will need to meet at 2.25pm by the stage in Gostrey Meadows on 16th November for the Christmas Light Switch on.  The choir will perform between 2.35 and 2.45, and all children should wear a Christmas hat.  Full details will be sent home with your child next week.

Flu vaccinations on 18th and 19th November. Please read this letter for full details and complete the e-consent form by Monday 11th November.

Please note that as this is Anti-Bullying Week, we are asking all children to support “Odd Socks Day 2019” on Tuesday 12th November. This involves the children simply coming into school wearing any odd socks to show that as a school we are taking a stand against bullying. Please note that no money is being collected for this event.
For more information on the Anti-Bullying Alliance please see this web link

Look out for the new Autumn/Winter menus coming home with your children today.  Please note that there may be some menu changes including no meat options on Friday, and the kitchen will not be offering soup, an alternative such as jacket potato will be offered on that day.  The school specific menu will be displayed in each classroom for your child to make their lunch choices.  This is a brand new menu which Twelve15 are launching and will be subject to change as we see what works best for our children. Once the school specific menu is finalised it will be posted on the school website.

If you haven’t paid for your children’s school trips this term please do so as soon as you are able to.  Whilst contributions are voluntary we cannot offer these opportunities without them.

Introducing St Polycarp's PTA Winter Warmers. Every Friday from today up until Christmas (except Friday 22nd November - Film Night!) we will be selling lovely hot chocolate in the KS2 playground after school. 50p for a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. We have a number of unclaimed cake tins left over from the cake sale, please collect from the office as soon as possible.  Any unclaimed items will be disposed of next Friday.

We are running short on Reception and KS1 boys underwear and KS2 girls underwear, if you have any spares you are able to donate to the office we would be grateful.

Rotary Clubs – Farnham Weyside and Farnham - are launching the 2019 Young Photographer competition. This is a national Rotary competition and is open to our school to participate. They already work very closely with local schools who participate in our very successful Rotary “Youth Speak” – a debate/ public speaking competition. Click for the information pack and entry form.

Thank you to parents of year 5 & 6 children who have returned the permission slips to the All Hallows’ joint singing concert on 20th November.  Tickets will be on sale from the school office after half term at the cost of £3 each.  As we have limited tickets available, parents will be initially allocated 1 ticket per child.  If there are tickets left over we will then contact you with the option to buy more.  Please put the correct money in a labelled envelope with your child’s name and class on it and your preference as to whether you would like your ticket sent home with your child, or you would rather collect it from the office in the afternoon. Envelopes can be left in the school postbox outside the office .
