Parents and carers - WE NEED YOU!! After school, on Monday 12th June, St Polycarp's will be hosting their very own Careers Fair. We have some exciting stalls lined up but would love to have a wide range of careers for the children to explore and therefore would like to invite parents and carers to come and host a stall on their chosen career. Last year's fair was a real success and the children learnt so much about various different career paths, whilst also challenging the stereotypes which currently exist around different careers. If you are interested in hosting a stall and would like any more information, please contact Miss Maloney via the school office. Anybody is welcome!

Due to the weather finally beginning to change now and getting warmer, Please take note of the following:

Children require water bottles in school, at all times and especially for PE & Games. This week there have been a number of children without water bottles and with it getting hotter, children will need water.

Sun hats are advised – Please ensure that they are labelled with your child’s name.

Sun cream - As we are not able to put sun cream on the children, we would encourage parents to apply before school. If KS2 are bringing sun cream into school,  it will need to be kept in their bags and applied by themselves at break or lunch time. Please remind children they cannot share sun cream.

PLEASE Label your child's uniform - During the hot days, especially hoodies and sweatshirts as these are taken off and left lying about and sometimes it is very difficult to join owner & clothing.

When leaving the church car park, after the morning drop-off, please turn left at the end of the drive into Tilford Road, and not right, to stop the build up of traffic.

If you think that you are going to be late to collect your child after school, by 20 minutes to 1/2 hour, please telephone to use the amazing facilities of the Late Pick Up Club or the Hive.
