Bible Blessing
From 30th September 2019 to end of December 2020 the Bishops’ Conference of England & Wales have launched their initiative – The God Who Speaks: The Year of the Word. This initiative will also enhance and embellish the Pope’s call for devoting the Third Sunday in Ordinary Time to the celebration, study and dissemination of the Word of God as stated in the Pope’s Apostolic Letter ‘Aperuit Illis’.
Therefore, we would like the children to bring in their Bibles from home to be blessed at our next whole school mass, which will be February the 13th. If your child does not have a personal Bible, they will be able to take a class Bible to the church for the blessing.

Tomorrow’s Achievers is a charity that runs masterclasses in different parts of the UK led by experienced course teachers on Saturdays or Sundays during term time.  The courses are for children of all ages, the majority for primary aged children and into secondary, up to the end of Key Stage 3. If interested, please take a look here.
