At St. Polycarp's all the children run 15 minutes every day. If weather conditions are unsafe to run then the children will do a 15 minutes teacher led workout in the classroom. Note EYFS start running 5 minutes a day and build up to 15 minutes a day by the end of the Autumn term.

St Polycarp's Run the World 28,750 miles
Surrey Active challenged schools to run the circumference of the world in an Academic Year. The breaking news is - St Polycarp's have managed to run the world three times over!
Our 420 children have managed to run a total of 86,250 miles.
Our younger sports reps have been checking that the classes run daily, and once a week the older sports reps tally up the miles covered.
There are no documents to display at present.
Many of our upper KS2 children are running 2 miles in the 15 minutes and our new reception intake have increased their stamina substantially since the beginning of the term.
It has been noticeable at recent sporting fixtures and events how fit our children are compared to many others.
