One World Prayer Day - 22nd March 2019

One World Prayer Day for the Tanzanian Charity, The Walser’s Trust.

Recently our school celebrated our One World Prayer Day. The children came to school dressed in the colours of the Tanzanian flag to show their support for the Waltzer’s Tanzanian Charity which sponsors two school children. They made a donation to come dressed in mufti and also brought along a small toy (the size of their hand) to send to the children.

The classes that day took turns to spend some time in prayer and reflection by visiting prayer stations set out in the Teaching Hall. The ten stations each covered a different prayer intention. Many children commented on how much they enjoyed the experience.
