St Polycarp's are proud of it's SATs (Statutory Assessment Tests) results.
These tests are a national framework to measure the development and ability of the individual children in key academic subjects, and benchmark against the performance of other schools. The results provide the basis of the School League Tables which are used as the annual measure as to how a school is performing.
Tests are administered at the end of KS1 (Year 2), in conjunction with ongoing teacher assessment the results are not published nationally. KS2 (Year 6) tests are taken over a period of four days during May. The results of these tests are published.
SATs were not administered in 2020 and 2021 nationally.
