Please note there will be no Y5/6 Maths Investigation Club before school on Tuesday 22nd October as Mrs Trafford will be out at a meeting off site.

School Photos will be delivered free of charge if orders are placed online before 22nd October 2019.

Year 6 Parents:  Please don’t forget that the deadline for secondary school applications is Thursday 31st October.  Please ensure that you complete your online application to Surrey/Hampshire as soon as possible if you haven’t already done so. 
Supplementary Forms to be signed by Mrs Best should be handed in to the school office as soon as possible in order for them to be returned to you before the half term break.

Please notify your child’s teacher about any changes to regular home time arrangements either in person in the morning, or by sending a note in to school with your child. Only emergency arrangements should be communicated by phoning the school office before 3pm

We know that you are all aware of the ‘NO PARKING’ arrangement in the church, but please note that there are funerals on Wednesday 23rd October at 1pm and on Friday 25th October.  There will be no availability for parking on these afternoons.  If you have been given permission to park, please find alternative parking for these days.

Our children have created individual pieces of art ready to be made into Christmas cards and other items. These are available to preview and purchase online from 17th October. Each child should receive their unique code on a leaflet by Thursday 17th...please use this to sign in and view/purchase your childs artwork on Christmas cards and/or gifts, making beautiful gifts for friends and family. The PTA receives a percentage of every sale made. Please note that the online shop is OPEN FOR 1 WEEK ONLY until 24th October, absolutely NO orders can be made after this date.

Farnham Fireworks Display tickets are now available before and after school (most days) outside the office, or by leaving the correct money and contact details in the PTA postbox. Adults £6; Child £4; Family £16. Please purchase these from our PTA as St Polycarp's will then receive 50% of all our sales.
The organisers, Farnham Round Table, request that our school provide a minimum of 3 marshalls to help on the night. Please let any member of the PTA know if you would be willing to help or require more information.
We also have the option to enter a 'Guy Fawkes competition' for which the school will receive £50 for each guy entered (4 max) and the winning school will receive a further £200! Please let us know if you are keen to enter.

Year R personalised tote bags will be available to order up until 24th October. You should have received an order form this week. If not, please speak to your class representative.

Year R photograph has been published in the Farnham Herald this week. Now available to purchase locally.

End of half term social in the junior playground from 3.15pm on Friday 25th October. To include cake sale, pre-loved uniform and also book sale. Please bring your cake donations into school on the morning of the 25th.
Please also bring a drinking vessel for a nice hot cuppa and some pennies to buy a cake or two!

Unclaimed items of Lost Property will be put on tables outside the main entrance on Thursday and Friday next week.

Mr Cowdry’s band are playing an original, creative gig of Indie and classic rock in The Plough on 19th Oct.  All are welcome, they would love to fill the pub!
